Stay & Surf

If you want to do more than just look at the beautiful Atlantic Ocean when in Galway why not get into the Ocean with your friends and a surf board? Everyone should try surfing at least once in their life, it’s a fun activity that will get you out of the city & out to the most beautiful beaches in the West of Ireland. Woodquay Hostel have teamed up with Moher Surf to offer a great tour & surf deal for groups of 5 or more.

Your group will be picked up from Galway, drive along the cost to The Cliffs of Moher, The Burren & other scenic spots along the way before finally arriving in the beautiful town of Lahinch for your group surfing lesson. All equipment is provided & you’ll be dropped back to our hostel that evening with sea salt in your hair and a few stories for the pub.

Adventure Awaits

Experience a one of a kind escape to tranquillity and discovery of Galway from the water on a kayaking tour.

You can discover Galway on foot, bike or car but when you get in a kayak you see the untamed coast of Galway in a different way.

We have teamed up with Kyakmor who are offering groups a guided kayak trip to discover the enchanting waters of Galway.

For groups of 10 or more a 3 hour kayaking tour is discounted to €37.50 per head.
